Single Girder Overhead Cranes are a cost effective option for capacities up to 10 tons and spans up to 80 feet. Single Girder Cranes are perfect for light applications such as repair and maintenance, loading/unloading, general plant use etc.
Single girder cranes have one girder (ISMB type or box type) and weigh less than double girder cranes, leading to lower dead weight which helps save construction costs. They have a compact design and allow better utilization of floor space than double girder cranes. Single Girder Cranes also have lower maintenance expenditure because they have simpler designs and are not put under as much stress as Double Girder Cranes

Wireless remote is available for crane usage, which allows highly convenient crane operation. This is important because the operator does not have to run along the crane and can operate the crane from a distance, which is not possible with a wired remote control (pendant)
